Illinois is super expensive. Folks, I am not just talking about Chicago. After all, it should be pricey. It is less expensive than NYC or LA, and it has a certain special um cache all its own. However, let me add. Property taxes in Illinois are over three times what we can pay in next-door neighbor Indiana for a house that is similar in size.

search engines

Most of us can indeed rank high on search engines. There are a few tips and tricks that we can use. For example, we can include a lot of images. Oh yes, people like to click on those and they make the web site more sticky if you know what we mean. Another good attractor is to add videos from Youtube to your pages. These provide content that is easy to consume. Well, my last tip is getting people on social media to talk about you. Well, that is all folks, and we do wish the best for you in our new year.

Baidu

Baidu is using AI in an attempt to learn natural language, but there are some major roadblocks ahead of us. For example, people often do not say... like what they mean. Also, we do see that mighty Google is jumping in. Do trust me on this one. Here is what we see. Definitely, we do know that artificial intelligence is the future for us.

enormous mansion

Frankly, most of us would like to reside in an enormous mansion. However, the tax situation is severe. Sadly, few of us could ever dream of living in one. Yeah, this is true even if we inherited the place or it was given to us. Actually, for that reason... I know that a lot of people do bear like a certain envy... like when they see one. That said, they are so nice. Oh yes, big houses that is.

Please do not hug the mouse. Disney say that guests are inappropriately touching characters and this is serious. Frankly, I do not like the house of the mouse. Rodents can be in fact quite scary. After all, they transmit disease germs.

Folks, let me tell you. It is obvious that news deserts are so common. Do blame our ongoing economic crisis. Yeah, for many of us... there was never a recovery. Please let that piece of knowledge sink in. Oh yes, I did say a piece.

Apple revamps maps. Well, that is awesome news. Basically, we do enjoy... like using this amazing service. However, it was a bit clunky for us. Do hope that they can spend some money. Oh yes, the bugs are not so nice.

I do like the wizard of oz. However, it contains subversive messages. Yeah, that is most certainly what we see. Dorothy was able to destroy the wicked witch of the west using water for an unknown reason. That is against our common sense.

Sapir-Whorf Hypothesis

OK, so the Sapir-Whorf Hypothesis is that language makes us who we are. Hey, that is certainly a mouth full for me. Actually, that could have some major implications for machine learning as well as our new artificial intelligence computer programs.

Yo, many people think that cats are unfriendly, but they are wrong. Actually, we really do enjoy our FELINE companions. The fact is, Steven Gibbs, says that people should get cats, but there it is. Let us celebrate what God has indeed given us. Brothers and sisters, I like both cats and dogs, but not a lot of both in the same room.

OK, so here is great news. This is an amazing holiday season. People can use apps... to save some money. Well, this is certainly a welcome bit for us. Just hope we can find our car. Yeah, there is a lot of fluffy white snow.

Ah yes, a second Chinese city is under lockdown due to the coronavirus. Hey, we do fear this terrible virus. Well, it borders on a major panic.

Aliens are supposed to be weird and scary. However, it could also be nice. Oh yes, that is possible we suppose.

English was 90% of the content on the internet in the 1990s, but what about now? Actually, we see Chinese use is growing. Still, English is still seen as the language of the internet for some reason.

Electric cars

Fellows, here is some sour news. Electric cars are in woe. They have a very um limited range. Also, chargers are few and often using em is a pain. Well, this should data indeed surprise no one. Sadly, we could see it coming... like a mile away even. After all, we did predict that electrics would not replace gas.

Laws

Laws to forgive student debt are on a rise. College is simply too expensive. Also, let me add, it does not guarantee you a job that is high in pay. Sadly, a lot of our high tech high paying positions are going overseas. Yeah, you can get cheap foreign computer programmers or engineers. Like they are currently willing to work for less than our minimum wage.

CGI

CGI is getting better every year. By the way, CGI is an acronym. It can mean a computer-generated image. Do feel that it is a bit um creepy. Maybe, that is just me. Still, these pictures fall deep into the uncanny valley and are so uncanny.

Netflix

Netflix should indeed cut prices. Also, they might get better movies. Hey, we are paying a lot for garbage that is not so nice. Maybe, they did not get our memo. Subscribers are leaving this streaming service. It is simply too expensive.

The Talented Mr Ripley

Matt Damon was The Talented Mr. Ripley in an awesome movie. It was quite probably his best role ever. Dickie Green Leaf was not so nice. Rich boys are like boring to the max. Still, we see that Damon was an excellent con man. ☄️

Cold blast

Cold blast hits millions just now. Fellow colleagues, we are now being hit with a lot of snow. Also, some arctic air. Oh wow, the weather is not so nice. Brrr, it is super cold and then some more. Please remember to dress warm.

Hey, this is not so new. It does seem sec 8 is racism now. Funny, how that is. Basically, we find that section eight was a housing program. OK, so the government would pay part of your rent if you were poor. Sadly, we can no longer refer to that program.

AI is scary. It should indeed frighten us. Sadly, people just keep on building computers that do have a lot more power. OK, so the result is... that we will soon become mere slaves on a planet that we once were owners.

home cinema

I really do like having a home cinema. Yeah, it is super max. Bro, we like to see new movies. Hey, even the old film noir is wow.

religion

Believe me, religion is less important now. It no longer rules people's lives anymore... like it did once. The fact is, we see a lot of churches are being turned into museums. Others are simply abandoned and have fallen into decay as the interest is gone. Yeah, a few of these grand buildings are in need of some repairs.

Uber

Uber has separate bathrooms for drivers and employees - wow. Talk about being treated like a second class citizen by this company. Dude, this is evil to the core. Glad that I am not a driver, but we do wonder what this means.

Oh, curses,  friends, we have some sour news. Students have to learn cursive once more. That was a bygone of the analog age. Sadly, it wants to haunt us in our new DIGITAL era. Yeah, that is not some FRIGHT mare.

Question for you

Question for you. OK, so can hard drives survive? Well, we are not so sure. After all, SSD is really taking over. Honestly, we should have seen... this one coming at us. Yeah, it was a decision to go with SSD because it is faster and uses less energy. Do know that the lithium batteries in laptops last longer.

Winter is near. Autumn is almost gone. Oh yes, we are in a wonderful holiday season. Do hope that we do not get a lot of snow. Basically, there is a certain chill in our air. It does point to what is coming soon.
