50's

 Back in the '50s, an elderly individual said - I don't got no TRUCK um with them pinko commies. Certainly, a strange use... like of the word truck, but what did the old man even mean? Words often change in what they can reference for us. Still, I doubt he was referring to an enormous vehicle in some way. Trucks do carry our cargo. Perhaps, he could say "I do not associate with socialists", but he called them pinko commies.
